When you work a 8 to 5 office job, like yours truly, it can put a damper on wardrobe creativity. The DC office style tends to be black, black, black, or gray. I find myself choosing classic pieces (often black or grey) and then sprucing them up with a pop (or three) of color. In this outfit, the skirt provides a great POP and a color palette to work with for accessories. The neutral grey top allows me to match my purse to the coral in the skirt and add a colored bracelet or two without making the outfit go overboard.
